S3 Process supplies leading process equipment to pharmaceutical manufacturers throughout the UK and Ireland. The Project Brief
S3 Process had recently secured partnerships with new equipment manufacturers and as a result wanted to update the structure of the website and add new products. Their previous site had been designed 10 years ago but no longer supported the position of the business and its successes within the industry. It was also looking a bit dated. In addition, the current website was built using a version of Drupal which was nearing end of life, so they were looking for a website that would provide continued technical support. A new website would provide a refreshed look to fully represent its brand and its extensive range of product partners.
The change also provided opportunity to utilise website development technologies using a new content platform not available in its previous build. This approach would allow access to more dynamic applications to website design and functionality while supporting growth as a platform in line with the business.
The Solution
Providing a cohesive, end user solution, WordPress was identified as a comparative platform for the next stage for the website. This approach supported an improved design offering greater visual dynamic and showcasing extensive product range.
As part of the approach to better represent the brand within the overall website design, The Web Orchard developed a dynamic menu implementation for improved user experience and further reflection of the brand.
Their creative team also came up with some new branding design elements to further enhance the appearance and functionality of the website.
The Result
The new S3 Process website is a fully fit for purpose site, showcasing the extensive range of products and partners in a visually dynamic way, while more accessible to users. Inclusion of video and greater product visibility enhanced the user experience and broader brand implementation.
With added functionality and greater integration, the new website supports their continued success as a business allowing to evolve with the business and future growth.
