Information Solutions Ltd is proud to celebrate a significant milestone as Director Peter White marks 20 years with the business, reflecting on a career that has helped drive the company’s growth, embrace new technologies and support organisations across Shropshire, the UK and beyond.
Peter’s journey began with a part-time job at Greggs, where he learned the value of hard work and customer service, before graduating from Coventry University in 2006 with a First-Class Honours degree in Computer Science. Soon after, he joined Information Solutions as employee number three, beginning a journey that would see both Peter and the company grow together.
Over the past two decades, Peter has played a key role in transforming Information Solutions from a small team into a thriving technology and digital business employing 15 people today. Along the way, the company successfully navigated the challenges of the Global Financial Crisis, expanded its services and continued investing in innovation.
In 2007, Peter helped establish The Web Orchard, which has gone on to support businesses and organisations with websites, digital marketing and online growth strategies. He has also helped build and develop successful ventures including Love Shrewsbury and Iraq Business News, while overseeing projects for organisations across the world.
Throughout his career, Peter has remained passionate about staying ahead of technology trends, helping clients embrace advancements in cyber security, cloud computing and, more recently, artificial intelligence.
“One of the things I’ve always enjoyed about technology is that you’re constantly learning,” said Peter. “The tools and challenges may change but helping organisations solve problems and achieve their goals remains the most rewarding part of the job. With AI creating new opportunities and the relaunch of The Web Orchard on the horizon, the future is incredibly exciting.”
Away from the office, Peter has actively supported charities and community organisations across Shropshire, providing advice and expertise around websites, digital technologies and IT systems, alongside taking part in local fundraising initiatives.
